Much of the essential, ecological, and social services available on Cortes Island are provided through the Social Profit community of Cortes. The Cortes Foundation supports the community of Cortes Through it's Social Profit Network: the grassroots groups, non profits, charities, and all those endeavours that support the social wellbeing of the island.

This support Includes helping to organize the Social Profis, develop and connect the community to "best" practices to develop their operations, developing Funds & philanthropic tools, and granting.
