The Children’s Forest Trust
The Forest Trust for the Children of Cortes Island was incorporated and registered as a BC Society (non-profit) through the Registrar of Companies on November 15, 2012, and registered as a Canadian charitable organization in 2014.
Our multi-generational Board of Directors and team of Associates are guided by the following principles.
- To establish, in perpetuity, a legacy of protected, natural forest on Cortes Island on behalf of children and future generations.
- To nurture relationships between children and nature, and to inspire advocacy for the natural world.
